Help keep your teams productive by allowing BIM Coalition to provide as-needed support for your Revit support needs. Once elected you team members can contact us by phone, e-mail, or IM for quick support to keep your projects on track.

Ongoing support for both projects that have already started as well as upcoming projects is often necessary. It is suggested that this support also include internal individuals and be monitored by BIM Coalition. The most successful way to do this is through the use of an e-mail group. Select BIM Coalition members can be added, and can respond as necessary, of if someone in your firm knows the answer, they can chime in.

In addition to the e-mail list, phone numbers can be shared for the desperate emergency situations, or even those situations that might be easier to explain verbally. BIM Coalition does not currently operate a 24/7 emergency hotline (and is unaware of any company, even Autodesk who does) - but can provide evening / weekend contacts as we understand emergencies often do not fall in the 9-5 timeframe and will do our best to respond as quickly as possible in these situations (no need to wait for a company to open at 9 on Monday.) Currently most requests for supports get contacted within an hour, if not within 10 minutes.

Note - there are going to be several situations where the issues are directly related to issues with the software. Whenever possible, workarounds will be explored (the templates will incorporate many already.) However there are going to be times when the only resource will be to submit the files to Autodesk. We can guide your firm through the process, or can take point during that process. Sometimes there is something on the backend that Autodesk can do, however most of the time this will result in a 'thank you, we are working on it, look for it in the 2013 release.. maybe.' as they are typically planning software releases 2-3 years out.
